Danny Bryant (- -?) was the former Ace Detective. He was the guardian of Kimihiko Kimizuka.
Appearance[]
During the flashback, Danny was in his late thirties. He had frizzy hair and a beard. He wore dirty shoes, a wrinkled shirt and a silk hat that barely covered his eyes.
Personality[]
Danny is mostly portrayed as a care-free man who lives without being weighed much, though at times he is serious and has a clear and straightforward view on life. He is sympathetic when it comes to children that are being mistreated, much due to his past experiences with his daughter, giving him the will to protect those children.
Background[]
Danny had a wife and a daughter. He then got divorced and raised her daughter alone.
One day, Danny caught a guru of an emerging religious group. That guru was killing innocent children under the guise of exorcism. But he was the son of a distinguished family and thus never brought to justice. He then killed Danny's daughter to take revenge.

His plan regarding the mysterious safe has connected precisely until one year after his death, from how the new Ace Detective will eventually meet Kimihiko Kimizuka trying to investigate on him, to the secret self-claimed justice organization's actions against the new Ace Detective and Kimihiko Kimizuka, and finally to the true key that unlocks the safe being the tool that only the Ace Detective possess.
