SPES (スペース Supēsu?) is the ninth episode of the The Detective Is Already Dead TV anime adaptation.
Synopsis[]
アリシアを取り戻すため、シエスタ、君塚、シャルの3人はついにSPESの拠点へとたどり着いた。シエスタと二手に分かれシャルと共に行動していた君塚はSPESの親玉である”シード”と対峙し、SPESの正体を知る。一方シエスタはヘルとの再会を果たし、アリシア奪還を試みるのだった
Summary[]
Kimihiko, Siesta, and Charlotte all head to the SPES island hideout. Charlotte and Kimihiko both infiltrate the base and encounter SEED impersonating first Cerberus and then Bat. As Bat, SEED details that they are a plant from outer space who plans on blanketing the planet with his seeds. Finding out that Siesta is in trouble, they try and leave the place and find her, but are stopped by Chameleon. Charlotte stays behind to fight against Chameleon and riding on a motorcycle, Kimihiko finds Siesta in a dirt field. After the two have a brief chat with each other until Hel appears and she fights against Siesta. Midway, their fight is interrupted by Betelgeuse who manages to knock Siesta unconscious, but is slain by Hel. Hel then tries to take Siesta's heart, but Kimihiko tries to stop him only to be incapacitated by flowers that bloomed on his body. Awakening in his room, Kimihiko looks at the picture that he and Siesta once took together.
